Look at them smiling with each other in their freshly pressed suits and full stomachs!

I was particularly perturbed when I saw William Ruto shaking hands with Kibaki and smiling with Kalonzo (does Ruto know what is going to happen to him?)

I should have posted this here:

You know I just watched NTV on youtube and saw something a bit disturbing.

Kibz and Raila and Kofi Annan had just opened their formal talks and all.

at the end of the clip, they show these politicians mingling and shaking each other’s hands, exchanging smiles over tea and juice, as if all is ok.

I applaud their civility despite their rivalry, but there was just something sinister about the fact that they were carrying on in a “bsuiness as ususal” way.

Kibaki was there talking with Raila and Annan, shortly he shakes Ruto’s hand and they talk, then Orengo comes thru, shakes kibaki’s hand with the utmost respect while kibaki seems to be joking with him( you’d not have thought it was the same Orengo who pulled theatrix during Parliament’s opening), halafu Gumo pia.

Kalonzo is seen having a light moment with Ruto.

All this is going down while the country is burning, people are being displaced from their homes, women, men and children being raped, etc, and all these leaders do is just act as if kila kitu iko sawa.

There was something very screwed about all that. It seems that all these politicians just put up shows while in public

    KE,

You ask if RUTO Knows what’s going to happen to him .

Is there anything really that is going to happen to him ? seriously, is there ? It seems to me that it was just business as usual for him and the rest.

Thank God I didn’t see Martha Karua mingling with them.

I agree with the prior post. This bastards are shameless. To add injury to insult, Kibaki is heading to Addis Ababa???? Goodness!!! what in the world is more important than making sure the current crisis ends???

We can only hope when he is gone Lucy can stir the ship. Boy she got more balls than this crowns.

  4. Did you hear Raila quoting Marting Luther King???

One minute he is saying don’t attack Kisii’s, they are our friends (and we all know what that means…Kikuyu’s are not our friends and can be attacked. The next minute he is here quoting King! This man is not stable.

There’s only two tribes in Kenya
    1. Rich and powerful political and business elite
    2. The rest of us.

You saw the first tribe smiling at each other   , the second tribe are busy killing each other and evacuating each other   *for the sake of the first tribe.

  7. I think Kenya is going to collapse. First of all, what were ugandan soldiers doing in kisumu shooting people right after the elections. If these chaos are about who won the presidency, then why were ugandans killing kenyans in kenyan soil, and what did the kenyan army have to say about that? Secondly, why is mungiki killing Luos in rift valley, while the police is watching? And why in the hell is mungiki in migori town, armed with guns and shooting civillians in their homes? Is Kibaki still in control, or is mount kenya mafia in control?
