This is a website created by the business school at the University of Maryland. It collects failed business plans that were submitted as part of a public IPO application and it archives them for your consumption.

The sign-up process is free and once your signed up, you can browse through the site using different criteria. For example, you can search via an alphabetical listing of various companies or you can search by market sector (e.g. Ecommerce, infrastructure, etc, etc)

If your looking for business ideas, this might be a good place to start. Plus, you can read their prospectuses and analyze for yourself why they failed or what happened.
