“Guess-timation”
I know I keep harping on this internet thing and some people may find it boring or even repetitive, but I continue to be astounded by how much individual people are making with simple based internet companies.
I also know that Kenyans love “brick and “mortar” businesses, like:
But who wants to deal with employee’s and theft and inventory or tenants who don’t pay the rent or who are constantly complaining about a broken toilet, a broken mirror, etc, etc….
Now, take your guess….
Moving on to other depressing matters:
I just finished reading the standard: MP’s want to give themselves another raise! Kibaki wants to add 90 more MP’s!! This is no longer about tribe, it’s about a need for a generational change in leadership in Kenya. These old people have to go, from whatever tribe they come from.
Sickening….
KE-Age ain’t nothing but a number (RIP Aliyah). We need leaders. Instead we elect the richest, the loudest, the most sycophant and umia afterwards.
Maina:
That’s an overused cliche. In Kenya, we have an older generation of leaders who came out colonial times, who were brought in rural villages segregated by tribe and who are not technologically savvy (a trait one needs to lead any country in the 21st century)
The younger generation of kenyans are more urbanized, less rural, less tribal, more aware of what’s going on in the rest of the world, better educated and more internet savvy.
It’s just harder to change your ways when you are in your 70’s and 80’s and what africa needs right now is change. You can only get that with a younger crop of leaders.
