India’s billionaires….

I’m going to continue this theme of posting video’s of interviews with billionaires since I find it interesting to listen to what those who have made it have to say. Why India? because the Indians are fairly new to the list and they’ve done by overcoming many of the issues that I believe African entrepreneurs will have to overcome as well (things like poor infrastructure, bloated bureaucracies, corruption, inefficient government institutions, etc, etc) {For a list of India’s billionaires click here: (Maharaja Gold}.

Also, these Indians have worked for it. Talking about “rich” Africans who’ve just stolen money is not very helpful — you won’t learn anything from them and what we’re trying to do on this blog is to learn about business through the sharing of information and ideas. Right?

I’ll begin with an interview of India’s richest man: Azim Premji (founder of WIPRO). Net worth: $10 Billion dollars.

I didn’t notice they didn’t have those subscripts from buffetts’ interview, but we know how Americans are.

I think it’s for the hearing impaired (weren’t the hosts words also dictated on the screen?)

    Nice balance… very nice.

The subtitles are pissing me off though. What a slap in the face.

I guess someone decided that the “listeners” cannot understand what they are talking about. Yet their accent’s did not seem to hinder them from building empires from the US economy. I wonder if they had a translater in the board room?

Ooh well what can you do… what are you speaking… swahili !?! :)
