Long but invigorating interview. The guy has his facts and seems to have the financial wisdom from both masomo & experience. The results on the ground for his country are telling, though I don’t know whether he’s a beneficiary or contributor to the success.
I figure Kenya’s current finance minister can tetea himself reasonably well in the same sort of interview, with the facts of economic growth, free primary education, improved health care as well as citing challenges i.e. mungiki, corruption etc. Call it gift of the gab or just proper preparation before an interview. But translation on the ground, I’m not so sure about Kenya…

I’ve seen Kimunya in interviews and he doesn’t have the same kind of confidence level. Karua has it, Nyongo has it, but not Kimunya.
