Kajwang: I’m The Supreme Ayatollah

Well, Well, looks like Otieno Kajwang has just had a relapse. He’s gone back to his bad habits (Patel? You likey workey?).

Kajwang should never have been in the cabinet especially after he got disbarred for stealing a clients reward money and then refusing to pay it back!! This man is a crook.

Now, Kajwang is cleverly skirting the issue of giving these Indians work visa’s by only talking about the missionaries and saying how much of a soft spot he has for “people of prayer” (nigga, pule-zeee). However, we all know the real issue here is not the missionaries (who cares about missionaries anymore?) – The real issue here is those visa’s he gave to Indians, for jobs that Kenyans themselves can do.

If you really, really, want to piss Kenyans off, a great place to start is by giving work permits to Indians when over 50% of Kenyans are still unemployed. Kajwang has pretty much guaranteed that he’ll now be universally despised by all ethnic groups in Kenya.  It’s quite dangerous for a country’s immigration minister to be so easily bought. What if a rich Arab decided that he wanted a bunch of terrorists to use Kenya as a base? All he’d have to do is bribe Kajwang and I think Kajwang comes cheap. I mean, if you are stealing clients money, it obviously means that you are in dire financial straits and it wouldn’t take that much to buy you.

Moving on…..

** As I predicted the new finance minister is a Kikuyu. The one and only John Michuki is back. What can I say? ODM was beginning to intimidate Kibaki and they almost succeeded (by asking for Ndungu and the NSIS guy to resign) – but I’m sure Kibaki’s buddies told him the following: “Emilio, you better get your balls back dude or else, ODM is going to bring you down”. And that’s why Michuki is back. He’s going to stand up to ODM and he is going to fight back.

People, this is a fight for power and both sides in this grand illusion are after it. Why are people still refusing to accept what’s happening in Kenya?

This Kajwang has really got my goat!

How can he bribed with a few thousand shillings? I have heard that the deals were brokered by some Indians from Kisumu – where I understand they reign supreme.

    *******
Michuki is a hardcore character but he is also very disciplined and efficient.

I think he will do well at the Treasury. Although, I think he could have done better in one of the infrastructure ministries where hands-on supervision is needed e.g. roads.

  2. Murigi wa Mwangi on July 12, 2008 at 1:57 am

I’m waiting for some one to comment.. with bile after he reads the post..anyway nice post KE. He isn’t gonna last long…

  3. coldtusker on July 12, 2008 at 12:39 pm

Josh: You are laughable. BS… Why would Indians from Kisumu (who would be Hindus) sponsor a guy from the Mormons?

Let’s get more details on the case. I am not a Kajwang supporter but some of these churches ‘donate’ and are not providing loans… and their faith means they have to ‘volunteer’ their time…

  4. coldtusker on July 12, 2008 at 12:40 pm

KE: Where did I miss that the applicants were Indian. I thought the guys were Americans since most Mormons are Americans

Did I miss it in the article that you posted?

  5. Proud Kikuyu Woman on July 12, 2008 at 4:31 pm

I think it’s two storos in one. Problem is, something happens and we get various interpretations of it, KE’s and Nation’s, for instance. I elewa why people feel so pissed when it comes to work permits, but is there evidence that said welder was out to eat Kenyans’ lunch, is it even remotely possible that he’d start start his own welding thing and employ Kenyans?
    AOB;
-On Kajwang, it’s laughable that the champions of change nominated a convicted criminal to head a whole ministry.
-Michuki;always us vs them, why? Surely PNU has capapble non-Kikuyus. Or Kikuyus with non-Kikuyu names?
-Work permits in general; try telling that to the Kenyans in the ‘Diaspora’. Do they have the same feelings about ‘other’ people in the Jamhuri?
-Missionaries, ai, wee, me I view them with mingi suspicion these days.

    Coldtusker

I don’t just talk without investigating – unlike you.

There is the scandal of the Mormons and there is a separate one where he has handed work permits to undeserving Indians.

One had been given a Temporary Work Permit for one year but Kajwang has ignored advice and given him a permanent work permit yet the job can be done by a Kenyan BComm holder. The dude cannot even speak English. The other one was given an Investor Permit when he had only 1M instead of the required 6M!

    Get your facts rights.

There is one ting you must get into your dense medula oblongata – Kikuyus will remain relevant as long as the nation of Kenya survives. Forget 2007 – that is now history. You tried and failed.

    Digest that please.

  8. lk on July 12, 2008 at 8:48 pm

Mamons, islam, Hindu…… Kenya is a christian nation. Submitted to the lord Jesus Christ. Not ”joseph smith” or ”mohamed” or ”Hare khrishner”
The battle on the ground is more spiritual than physical. We wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spirits and powers of darkness in heavenly places. Let he who has an ear listen.

  9. Coldtusker on July 13, 2008 at 1:52 am

josh: hmmm… i referred to the story linked here… so if know the real truth… toboa… and 2012 ni yetu…

BUT… I would rather have an honest kikuyu than a crooked luo… I do not care what tribe but the jamaa has to be CLEAN. If kajwang took bribes, well… kick him out.

lk: Wacha zako… a guy came, held up the bible and said… please close your eyes and pray with me… when we opened our eyes, we had his bible and he had taken our land!

  10. KE on July 13, 2008 at 4:38 am

I think the article I posted above did mention that Kajwang had given work permits to “asians” and he did it against the advice of people at his ministry. Like I said, I could care less about the missionaries, but you don’t give out work permits to foreigners when you have a 50% unemployment rate! is that patriotic?

    Proud kikuyu woman:

It’s not about finding capable non-kikuyu’s. Its about power and it’s about ensuring that no real power gets close to raila odinga, either today or in 2012.

  11. Coldtusker on July 13, 2008 at 9:37 am

KE: I searched the article but nothing… why don’t you show me where?

Josh: Please show me PROOF of Kajwang’s wrongdoing. I am NOT supporting the guy. If he is corrupt, please toss him out on the street – and jail would be even better – but please post the information here. Any news articles? Any links on the matter?

I refuse to support someone based on ethnicity… RAO is just cleaner than the rest. I agree there was some deal cut with dan moi – who sullied all he touched – about the molasses plant but corruption under kibaki is just too much.

  12. Josh on July 13, 2008 at 11:09 am

    Coldtusker

The link provided by KE above has the info. You may also trawl the Standard and Nation papers for the last one week and all details are there. If that is not enough, you should contact your people on the ground in Kenya (like I have done) and they will tell you everything.

The fact is Kajwang is now seriously damaged goods. How can you be confident in a minister who is giving out work permits to undeserving foreigners when there are so many jobless Kenyans? These are the sort of guys who will bring Raila down – and believe you me there a number of other ministers behaving dubiously.

When the foreign media turns against Raila (in the near future), that is when he will regret having given these people positions.

    ***********

As for Kimunya, it turns out that he had not sold the GR on behalf of a cabal of Kenyan Mafia as some ODM members had assumed. It was a genuine sale. It also turns out that the valuation was correct. The only complication was the legal status of the GR at the time of the sale.

Simply put, the GR was not a public property. It belonged to Kamlesh Pattni, who then agreed to hand it over to the CBK because the CBK had a charge on the hotel. The CBK therefore was able to sell it by private treaty after getting value for money. The deal is therefore also legally sound.

The problem appears to have been the fact that Kimunya did not keep the public informed about the deal. However, this was not a legal obligation. It was a just a moral obligation due to the public interest in the matter.

Raila as the PM should have explained to the public what the merits of the deal were.

Raila, Ringera and Wako were all aware of the sale and the manner of the sale! Interesting!

    Kajwang Down for petty theft

Uhuru Kenyatta Down for Subverting the law and theft

  14. Kei O on July 14, 2008 at 6:59 am

    lord

Ntimama – Down for theft of land allocated for victims of clashes (82 acres at Moi Ndabi scheme in Naivasha)

Ruto – Down for doing a deal with Nathaniel Tum formerly of Kenya Seed. Ruto allocated 4M worth of shares to this vile thief so that the thief could drop his case for ownership of Kenya Seed. Exactly the kind of deal that Kamlesh and KACC did for Grand Regency.

Someone should compile a dossier on these vile ministers and circulate it so that we do not have people claiming to be clean (while dirty) accusing others.

    We need a clean cabinet!

  15. Kei O on July 14, 2008 at 8:09 am

Ruto should explain this theft of pyrethrum from a warehouse (1.5 Billion worth). This man should not have been put in charge of such a ministry considering his dubious background – riddled with theft and corruption.

  16. Josh on July 14, 2008 at 4:57 pm

This Ruto business is scary. Where has all that pesticide disappeared to?

Is NSIS sleeping on the job again?

  17. kikis on July 14, 2008 at 6:06 pm

    JOSH,
Joshua, why are you always kissing KE’s butt, are you scared of ..just give your opinions without repeating her words.

  18. Josh on July 14, 2008 at 6:27 pm

    kikis

Would you like me to kiss your ass then? Dumbo.

I didn’t even know KE is a —- until you mentioned it. How petty can some people get…….

Well, I guess its the uji in your head.

This is what worries me about some people; when they are confronted with a rock solid argument – they turn shrill and increase the volume. They can even change their names and hide behind a different handle.

    Kinda primitive. Duh!

  19. kikis on July 14, 2008 at 7:06 pm

    Josh,
Omoisiyo esisiye dumbo, nguguitande dumbo wewe !
It sucks when you don’t seem to have ideas of your own.

  20. proudkaleo on July 15, 2008 at 1:49 am

am glad michuki is in the finance ministry, he is one dude kenyan’s actually trust(remember how “michuki rules” saved kenyan lives). i personally would rather have michuki as president than senile kibaki.

    @josh
attacking Ruto is getting old, find something else better than that fool..

  21. lord on July 15, 2008 at 1:59 am

    When was the pyrethrin stolen?

    CT

You speak sense: Do not get why any one could call you dense…Or is ODM/PUNU BS

  22. Kei O on July 15, 2008 at 4:57 am

    lord

Everybody is asking that question. When was the pyrethrum stolen and how? And how can such a huge amount of a dangerous chemical be stolen unnoticed?

This is a matter for national security.

    CT, lord, kikis, Josh

When will Kenyans learn to disagree without resorting to name calling? From this thread, I can conclude that Josh is the wronged party. He was attacked by CT and then he defended himself – only to be attacked by kikis out of the blue (in an unitelligible language). He then defended himeslf and he was attacked by lord.

Children, let us grow up – for the sake of the nation.

  23. lord on July 15, 2008 at 7:40 am

    #Kei O

Yes this Chemical (pyrethrin) bussiness must be probed ASAP. Am waiting ‘bad’

    RE ATTACKS

    Kei O still

Go the the very top of this Blog: Josh starts claiming Kajwang ate is goat…….

CT replies saying ‘Josh : You are laughable. BS… Why would Indians from Kisumu (who would be Hindus) sponsor a guy from the Mormons?’

What is wrong with the above? is it the BS..? Wait ,see what follows?

From Josh to CT in Reply

    I don’t just talk without investigating – unlike you….

From Josh again (unprompted) to CT

There is one ting you must get into your dense medula oblongata – Kikuyus will remain relevant as long as the nation of Kenya survives……

    CT to Josh

Josh: hmmm… i referred to the story linked here… so if know the real truth… toboa… and 2012 ni yetu…

Then followed kikis…and *** kissing ..Kikis crushes after a Hit from Josh and hurls some unprintables in Bantush…….

    VERDICT

CT certainly sounds to me civil…Josh really HITS ( One needs to spur with to develop a thick skin for any civil service career…)

How did the lord attcak Josh ? NEVER did i …..I only commented that CT did not sound DENSE….or even now insulting…….

KEI O…Then ATTACKS EVERYONE WITH THE WORST…I can stand Josh’es DENSE oblungata or CTs BSs but NOT YOUR …………’Children, let us grow up’

    KEI O…take it back

    ALL

There is something in every LINE…

  24. Kei O on July 15, 2008 at 7:47 am

    lord

My comments were satirical – or at least meant to be.

    Correction:

When I said that Kajwang “gets my goat”, I meant he makes me angry. It is an English expression meaning “what makes me angry”.

    I hope that clarifies.

  25. lord on July 15, 2008 at 9:13 am

    ATENTION ALL

Am I right to ASSERT that

    Kei O = Josh

This is a SCANDAL…The ONE Who mentioned a Goat in line 1 is Josh.

Kei O never Mentioned any Goat Till the blog clarifying to Me (Lord) the meaning of goat in usage ……. “gets my goat”, I meant he makes me angry. It is an English expression meaning “what makes me angry”….

    NOTICE THE CLEAR I Meant

This Proves The EQUIVALENCE OF JOSH AND KEI O

Which Takes Me To The Next Question

Why are you ANSWERING YOUR BLOGS

    ‘CT, lord, kikis, Josh

When will Kenyans learn to disagree without resorting to name calling? From this thread, I can conclude that Josh is the wronged party. ‘

    WOW …WOW……KEI O = Josh

  26. Kei O on July 15, 2008 at 10:17 am

    lord

Hell No. I ain’t Josh and KE can verify that for you.

This is an expression that I frequently us i.e. “gets my goat” and it is indeed a common phrase where I live. I thought you meant I had used it to describe Kajwang (and he really does get my goat!) or something.

    But do I say!

  27. Kei O on July 15, 2008 at 10:39 am

    lord

I see why you make the connection. Because Josh has used the same expression above. This is a very common expression in the UK. I don’t know where Josh is but I suspect he/she could be there.

Like I said, I have used this expression frequently in the recent past – perhaps not on this blog but definitely on another. I am a prolific blogger and I am a regular contributor to 6 other blogs.

To cut a long story short, perhaps Josh himself/herself can shed some light on the matter.

    Interesting connection though.

Interesting ~ Thats why this blog is Sweet:::

Let the others have their say.

  29. Josh on July 15, 2008 at 5:45 pm

What the heck is going on here????

I am definitely not Kei O.

The moderator can settle this matter but does it really matter anyway?

Some people will spend their lives in paranoia – running away from shadows.

Kei O, lord, CT, all and sundry

Endeleeni na kazi. Achaneni na siasa ya pesa nane.

  30. KE on July 16, 2008 at 12:24 am

  31. Lord on July 16, 2008 at 11:40 am

    #KE …

 Noticed some very slight alterations done by KE on some lines …..The meanings never altered though…
