This is crazy. Its the Kenya we are living. Its very beautiful when you have MONEY and horrible when you are POOR. But what can we do? We have VOTES they have MONEY. Money moves mountain so they will continue being up there and we will continue being down there until when we start using our POWER (VOTE) wisely.

I think you should do a better research and give us a better list, yes the guys are rich but if you haven’t noticed the country is changing and there are new people on the block worth Billions of Kenyan shillings if not more…e.g the owner of seven seas tech, craft silicon and resolution health among many others.and if you give us a list at least add the companies the transact their businesses in and stop calling these guys thieves, they worked hard before they got into the positions of stealing.

hello guys! look all these people have money….whether stolen or not. why does it bother us?

Money does not define our life – does ?

I Bet you that most of these people with huge sums of money are living a more stressful life than people without it.

So live life in peace and dont worry what others have. We are not living for them.

and there goes the saying: Every morning in Africa, a Gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a Lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest Gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn’t matter whether you are a Lion or a Gazelle… when the sun comes up, you’d better be running.

Can you be serious!!!!!!!!???!!! Mabati $2billion.
What are you talking about? That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. Safaricom makes like 12billion Kenya shillings, and you want to convince us that mabati makes 160billion? Seriously, none of these people is worth even close to half a billion dollars.

Dick Evans owns Homegrown now called Flamingo Flowers as well as Watamu’s crown jewel Hemingways Resort.

Where is Joe Wanjui in this, UAP and those Tea Companies?

Manu Chandaria owns Comcraft Group that has Mabati Mills, Booth Africa and extends into South Africa and India. That other character owns MadhuPaper. Manu’s son owns the iconic Craft Silicon a software maker.

    who cares?

I “pimped” this list from another blog(sorry!)- feel free to add or dispute the sources of wealth for the individuals listed below. What I find interesting is that none of the names on this list can be found on the Forbes 400 richest. The only Africans on that list are the De beers of South Africa.

bunch of bull crap. you cant evaluate richness by mere knowledge of who owns which company and which property. Pay price water house coopers and they will give you 100% info.

in my opinion the following are missing

    vimal shah – bidco oil
Sunil shah – United millers, KCB
    Pabari group – petroluem business
    Ramco group
    Asl group
Nakumatt group is way bigger than you think it is
    Kibos sugar group
    + many many more.

I “pimped” this list from another blog(sorry!)- feel free to add or dispute the sources of wealth for the individuals listed below. What I find interesting is that none of the names on this list can be found on the Forbes 400 richest. The only Africans on that list are the De beers of South Africa.

Jameeni, hii ndio hali ya kenya. No-one knows what they are doing and these sorts of lists are flirted around with to create anxiety and falsify information. Good attempt – at plagiarizing a list made by an amateur. You guys love sensationalism!
Wacheni hii speculation – get to the FACTS!

I think this lacks serious real info….. some of the names are not even lejit… and alot of the guys on the list are either thugs or were thugs and are now broke! Alot of major people have been replaced by people that have never been heard of…

KE – guess you & khomeini are related.

And stay away from me… I don’t fancy being blown up for by your Dad-in-law’s believers!

    - BIDCO are wahindis. No idea if political connections but they got fed up of Kenya so hama’d to UG where they built the largest cooking fat plant this side of Africa.

They must be doing it right coz they get lotsa loans/support from World Bank.

    - Karume would have sold out when he started Castle BUT largest shareholder is Guiness/Diageo

    - kirubi is #1 shareholder of ICDCIC thru various vehicles.

@KE – dude, he is related to the queenie thru his wife.

I have it on good authority that the jamaa acts like a mzungu in MANY GOOD ways!

He pays his bills ON TIME
He believes on keeping his appointments ON TIME.

Wacha these other politicians, Njonjo is smart & respectful.

The other fools are late for most of their meetings unless they go licking someone’s arse.

He probably comes across as arrogant to those idiots who don’t get what they want from him i.e. freebies!

I do not agree with all his politics but he ran a better ship than wako!

    So, that’s why I didn’t link it.

Heard from the grapevine that Biwott starting selling off alot of his businesses when NARC came into power.

if Sir Njonjo is related to the queen then I am related to the ayatollah khomeini.

Njonjo was always a bus boy for the british – just another african hatin’traitor.

    To Coldtusker or anyone else

-Where are the BIDCO boys in this list?
    -Is BIDCO owned by Asians?
-Is Njenga Karume still EABLs largest shareholder?
    -Isn’t Kirubi ICDCi’s largest shareholder?
    -Does Kirubi own DHL???????????
-Is S. Koriata the guy who came tops in the Ndungu Land Report?
-Is Marble Arch owned by M.Maina ama Joseph Kamotho?
-Is Kengeles owned by Biwott ama that mzungu guy called Bell
-Si Biwott also owns the largest LIFT company in Kenya?
-Does this mean CBA is owned by Merali & Kenyattas?
    -Si Kotut also exports roses???

    Fact !!! (from the grapevine)….
-”sir” Njonjo is Sir indeed coz he’s related to the queen

I can’t vouch for the people on the list. Like I said, I “pimped” from another blog. That’s why I invited people to post any updated amendments.

Did Kirubi have money before Kenatco? If I recall, the kenatco fraud was in the 90′s. I thought he was wealthy way before that.

No-one commented… I am surprised or maybe they did iton the original blog!

There is no way Mabati does US$2 Billion in sales! (Unless u mean Zim$…) That would make it “larger” than EABL & KQ combined!

Paunranas are the “big” guys behind ARM. How did A. Vohra get in?

somaia – THIEF. UTC is bankrupt!

kirubi – hmmm… any of his cash from kenatco….

Who the heck is koriata? More info please…

merali in marshalls – how? this is a somaia-pattni tennis match…

    Kinuthia ni nani?

Comcraft is Manu Chandaria (aka #2 on th list). Magan Chandaria is the guy who bought Madhupaper.

    saitoti, kamanis, sajjad – thieves
