Peter’s book would be an interesting read especially cuz i met him recently for the first time. I think he is brave and has people’s interests at heart…..am not sure about his crowning Raila as an Elder of the Gikuyu House …

Just bought the book on amazon. Excited to see an actual Kenyan writing a business/entreprenurial book about his experiences as a Kenyan businessman. I’ll report back on how it was when I receive it.

Interesting….Kugurus went to school with my parents.Infact they are from the same Village of Kiawarigi in Mathira,Nyeri. Their dad…The late Ngibuini Kuguru was the Kingpin of Mathira Politics with his “Panga” symbol.

I went to school with his brother. The Kugurus are a good bunch of people. I haven’t read the book and I would definitely like to read it.

I was looking for the Duncan Ndegwa book and I still haven’t found one. The excerpts in the papers last year were quite interesting. He has a good simple style of writing. Anyone know where I can find a copy?

On the wider point though, it is true that Kenyans should write their memoirs. This will shed light on the murky dealings (if there are any) so as to avoid speculation and rumours.

I would really like Charles Njonjo to write his memoirs. Can anyone secure an interview for me?

What happened to his much publicised project “Central Kenya Coffee Mills” that was meant to sell coffee direct to buyers overseas for maximum returns to poor farmers.No address,No website. Another usual white Elephant? I hope he talks about it in his book.

I picked this book up a couple weeks ago, and only just got started on it. His story of the political fracas he had when running for MP in the forward is pretty interesting.

Sidenote: I went to school with his sons, so it holds special interest for me.
