I was looking through the blog listings on Mashada and discovered this new blog called Kenyan poet — it’s a blog about Kenyan/ African art and poetry and dance and literature and music and neo-soul nights, and, and, and…wow!
It’s so nice to see a site that doesn’t focus on that pop culture poison and those migraine inducing rap/ebonics/sheng “songs”.
It’s authentically afro-centric (& I’m digging it)
