They Have To Get Ruto

From the Nation:

A Catholic priest in the district had sent out a distress call to the police after the monastery he runs was surrounded by armed youths. “As I speak to you, I can see about 1,500 people armed with bows, arrows and spears,” Fr Dominic Vincent Nkoyoyo told the Sunday Nation. The priest said that the monastery had received threats of attack by people who said they were unhappy about the 600 displaced people camped there.

These people are still emboldened and they are still trying to kill people who are sheltering in churches! Ruto is getting very cocky – calling for more protests on Thursday, calling for an economic boycott (even though Raila is now disagreeing with them on this issue) as we can see below:

…..Mr Odinga denied that his party planned any economic sabotage to force President Kibaki to the negotiation table under the auspices of international mediators. Mr Odinga had spoken after a meeting with businessmen from the Mount Kenya region and top brass of the Central Organisation of Trade Unions. “Equity Bank is everywhere helping the poor in the process of economic empowerment…. “It is foolhardy to tie it to an individual when we know shareholders include international bodies and countries like the United States.” (full article here: Make up your minds).

I always assumed that Raila was in total control of the people in ODM, but it looks like cracks are beginning to form within this coalition of hooligans.

And why are 1500 armed men still able to surround a church? aren’t there any security forces in the Rift Valley {yet??}. Kibaki needs to sort out his security and intelligence services so he can start hunting down the individuals who are behind these incidents in the rift valley.

These protests need to stop because innocent people are being killed (Ruto is out of his mind to call for yet another demonstration on Thursday).

A poignant piece from a blogger who went to Korogocho with the red cross to try and deliver food: Will Africa ever get it?

If you have concrete evidence against Ruto then report it to the police. Not just ranting online about our Hero ……

I have documentary memos that chronicle the events as planned by ODM from day one. That’s why Raila is on record as saying that everything is going per script!! It even lists who gave how much for ODM Campaigns and their strategies!

    hey,

Unfortunately for the perpertrators ( pretenders & murderers ), the game is coming to an end!

And for pretending to use the justification of democracy to kill, rape and all the horrors commited. They cannot not hide now, the time of reckoning is coming in the name of courts and justice…

And the truth is that the pretenders and murderers have cost the opposition dearly. Justice has already started to take place but not many realise it……..

Bless all those who have died, suffered and been victimized. You will never be forgotten…. I would like to suggest that a monument be made in the memory of all innocent kenyans so that generations to come do not forget what happened and the price paid…

The government is steadily acquring evidence against Warlord RUTO. It takes time to build a solid case to be handled at the hague.

The monster that is ODM is slowly crumbling from within. Mara kuna boycott, mara hakuna, so much confusion. who’s really in charge ? coz mara we see Raila saying there’ll be no boycott, then we see RUTO and KOSGEY saying there will be boycott, after SALIM Lone saying there wil be boycotts…see, even reading this gets confusing.

People and the world will finally see the true colors of ODM and it’s leaders. Some will feel deceived, some are already disillusioned.

The fact that ODM went to parliament to be sworn in made them loose alot of support coz despite their theatrix, they have recognized the current gvt and its head, Mwai Kibaki as the president. Offcourse they’ll not tell u that but they know it

  8. CH0K'LET on January 21, 2008 at 6:27 pm

you jamaaz are expecting Kibaki and his cronies to pursue anyone in court? mtangoja. When they came up with the ‘Kazi Iendelee’ slogan, they really meant the Mt Kenya mafia iendelee kunyakua, not them kyuks who are now suffering simply for being kyuks.

An ODM jamaa as I am, the violence is really counter-productive-I don’t think it’s the way forward but the “govt” should not be left to settle into their self indulgence-we need to keep being a real pain in their collective behind coz leaving theze jamaaz to take Kenyans for granted will lead us further down the abyss.

The current constitution has fikad the end of its usefulness and nothing based on it will work from this point on.

Yeah, it’s painful what Kenya is going thru but we have to sort this mess NOW!! and certainly not with baba Jimmy burying his head in the sand thinking this one will go away- it will NEVER!!!

As a jamaa who voted and was in the thick of things, Kibaki never shindad this election-Raila did, but there has to a devolved power sharing deal from this point on-and certainly not with PNU claiming to have the upper hand.

    chok-let:

I want a vibrant opposition because it’s good for all democracies and that’s why I can’t understand why Raila is refusing to fight it out in parliament???

  10. ninja on January 21, 2008 at 11:21 pm

mwai kibaki can lead a vibrant opposition too

  11. M Maxwell on January 23, 2008 at 4:21 am

Its time those Warlords in ODM stop this nonsense and realize that Kenya will still move on.

  12. M Maxwell on January 23, 2008 at 4:27 am

The ODM should learn to respect the 4.5 M Kenyans who voted for Kibaki, this country does’nt belong to Luos alone as they are finding out now.

  13. TheObserver on January 23, 2008 at 4:47 am

Let’s be honest with ourselves and admit that the problems bedeviling us now are much more than the election stealing by Mr. Kibaki. First, tribalism is a fact and it has just shown us how far deep it runs within us.
The problems have more to do with the presidency and its powers, the perceived president who helps his or her community to the eat the share of the national cake, the lop sided distribution of the national resources and the land issue.
For those who want Ruto arrested on alleged ‘genocide’ charges, it will not help but rather make the situation worse than it is. And the fact of the matter is the Mr. Kibaki does not care a whim for those Kikuyus who were affected by the clashes. To him and the elitist cabal those are poor peasants that are inconseuential in their ‘national’ agenda!
Best favour we can do ourselves as ‘Kenyans’ is to sit down and seriuosly search for solutions to the problems that I have highlighted, otherwise it will be routine for ‘Kenyans’ to vacate certain regions before elections if we are to avoid evictions and the consequent sufferings.
If this is not possible, then lets carve up ‘Kenya’ so that each and every tribe of this land gets its nationhood, and try and search for another nationality identity!

Kikuyus should understand they cannot rule by force. They are squating on peoples land stollen by kenyatta.Ruto will win at all costs.

  15. Nje Khupekho on January 23, 2008 at 7:17 am

By the way, museveni anatanganya kibaki coz there will likely be a millitary coup very soon if things condinue vivi hivi

  16. mzeiya on January 23, 2008 at 2:19 pm

    NJE KH…….!

    Squatting on who’s land ?

  17. tindinyo on January 23, 2008 at 7:57 pm

Touch Ruto and you will see fire, there still many kyuks in RV hauled in show grounds.. ..If they are ever to return to there burnt homes,, messing with Ruto is adding more fuel…….Ruto has nothing to do with the killings of kyuks.. Kibaki is the problem keep ignoring it.. hii upuzi ya nyumba ya mumbi will cost you guys dearly..

  18. Ndaba on January 24, 2008 at 4:20 pm

Sometimes i feel sorry for such hare-brained retards like Nje kupekho and Tindinyo; talking tough and feeling good about those whose livelihoods have been decimated through lynching and burning of possessions. Do they know that the seeds of hate that have been sowed will take a long, long time to be healed. They’re having fun about the Gikuyu being crushed. What will happen when these people who many ignore as cowards marshal their own revenge and all out war ensues. Do you Kopekho know that it is ever so easy to retaliate for every Gikuyu’s head cowardly slain in the Rift Valley by just intercepting busloads bound for Western/nyanza at limuru forest? If Ruto (I dont know this) is behind the RV chaos, what makes you think a livid Michuki or that other lawyer Kimani from Nakuru, Ndura Waruinge et al cannot sponsor bloodthirsty goons from ihururu and maragwa to run riot with other tribes blood? Do you know how Mau Mau was formed? Ever heard of ‘Muuma’?

    Watch out my friends.

  19. tru on January 26, 2008 at 12:51 pm

That is what happened in Nakuru. We members of the army are Kenyans and know the truth. We know the Embakasi plan and we are still watching.
