Three Men & A Mistress…

Who are the three men in this new family saga? Lucy Kibaki, Paul Muite and Wambui “Kibaki”.

Who is the mistress? Mwai Kibaki

I watched this video of Lucy at the press conference with a combination of shock and sadness.  Here is the first lady of a country, threatening once again to go to a television studio (at midnight) and beat up a bunch of reporters (again).

I don’t want to bash Lucy because I think at this point, we need to use her situation to really address the lack of information (and appreciation) about the complexity of mental illness in Kenya.  This is no longer funny because I have heard, that whenever Lucy starts acting up, Dr. Gikonyo (who is kibaki’s personal physician), just shoots her up with an injection to try and calm her down and he should know that this isn’t the answer.  Now, I’ve been hearing things about Dr. Gikonyo’s lack of professional ethics in other areas of his medical practice for a while and the reason I want to focus on him is because this is the man who is in charge of taking care of that family’s medical needs and I’ve been hearing for years that this guy will take your money and not treat you.

Now, I know (& you know) that there are high rates of depression and mental illness in that country and maybe at this point, we need to stop laughing about it.  I’ve heard rumuors about Raila’s mental stability for years, especially after he came out of prison.  There’s something about that political system that just makes people crazy.

I think people are just fed-up of Lucy’s antics, but how do you stop her?

Watch and weep….

Kibaki JUST hit the LOWEST of LOWS. This is not Even Funny. This is so pathetic. This guy is not even creative.

It just shows he’s a pushover and a sucker- To have his wife push him to do a press conference like this. I mean common. Why spend time on a NON ISSUE ? This is TOTALLY EMBARRASSING for Kenya.

People said a whole bunch of shit against bush- But he NEVER pushed to have his press MUZZLED. I thought people people get old they get wise ? Apparently this is not the case with this mad woman.

Ladies & Gentle Men- Kibaki needs to take his wife to court Instead of trying to have Muite give up his freedom of speech.

  2. Anonymous on March 3, 2009 at 6:46 pm

…okay i kinda laughed at first and then i got sad. I used to make jokes about these people including Moi when i lived in kenya but to be fair i went to wiki and checked out their ages. Shes close to 70 and hes like 78.

I kinda agree with your whole medical slant because she might be sick. Also it appears he cares about her and wants to show support. The scary thing is the irony of what is stressing them is such a trivial issue which could have been handled by their juniors…it wont get better as we get closer to 2012….if they make it …then they can retire in peace….because they need to.

  3. Dee on March 3, 2009 at 8:49 pm

    KE,
It sounds funny when you hear about it from a third party but watching it live makes one sad. They need counseling sooo bad. The irony is that the alleged “second wife” gets state security and if you search her on you tube you will see her distributing relief food marked GOK. No regular folks have access to that. Imagine after 2012 and Miss. Wambui takes Kibaki to court for praternity test (Maury style). It can happen. Also never mind the firing of Mateere Keriri (S.H comptroller) for allegedly sneeking in the “second lady” into the house on the hill. And the “second lady” involvement with the notorious Artur brothers. They should all deal with it now before he leaves office else I predict an explosion of matters gone wild after 2012 partaining to the dear first family. God bless them.

  4. kenyanentrepreneur on March 3, 2009 at 10:40 pm

The question is, how do you tell someone who is mentally ill that their behavior is out of bounds? You can’t do it by appealing to their sense of logic because this doesn’t exist. So, what do you do?

Moi’s answer was to banish his wife to a life of imprisonment, which was just beyond cruel. Actually, it was downright strange, but Kibaki doesn’t seem to have found an answer.

I’m beginning to think that part of the problem maybe that Dr. Gikonyo: He’s a heart surgeon, he’s not a psychiatrist and the answer is not just to keep injecting her with a bunch of meds. Why hasn’t he or someone else recommended psychiatric treatment?

I’ve been around alcoholics before and it is an emotionally exhausting experience and I can see why so many people just end up institutionalizing their relatives: it’s a very complex and difficult problem.

  5. Ssembonge on March 4, 2009 at 1:56 am

Lucy emotionally black mailed Kibaki into ‘defending’ the family. Muite’s remarks, coming soon after Kibaki had defended Saitoti’s against Lucy’s acusations, put him against the rest of his family.

What is interesting is that their children are siding with their mum. As they have always done.

And no, she is not being treated for mental illness. Anyone who knows the Kibaki’s well will tell you that they have always been like this. And that also includes the daughter. They hold everyone in contempt and are very arrogant.

What you saw today was a glimpse of what happens in State House everyday. Lucy shouts at Kibaki everyday and that is why he holds his meetings in Harambee House.

    I concur with Dee
Post 2012 Kibaki..family matters will end in court over property ,paternity and other things…….you aint seen nozing yet…

I think the media like running salt in a the first family wound, i dont know maybe they find pleasure in it. Thats why I supported the media bill and I would care less. What about the sex scandals that keep flying around about big people in the major media houses in Kenya (NMG and Standard group). Why don’t they publish that and we see if this will not cause stress to their wives or husbands and families.

  8. Lord on March 4, 2009 at 3:25 am

    noni

    grow up!!

You mean the media created Muites story!! The media created Lucy?..Ostrich farm! Just accept facts as they are. We are sad ! Its an embarasment to the nation….The media is NOT to BLAME here….Infact Lucy & Kibaki called all the media

  9. kenyanentrepreneur on March 4, 2009 at 4:11 am

I don’t know why Lucy keeps engaging the media in these running battles. It’s just making things much worse for her.

Either she’s getting terrible advice from her adult children (are they that stupid?) or they’re allowing her to act irrationally in public.

Maybe Africans need to start embracing divorce as a viable and better option for marriages that are just not working out (for whatever reason….alcoholism, mental illness, drug abuse, whatever). Just divorce your spouse, disconnect that cord and move on.

I don’t understand why men still want to have multiple wives and multiple children all living in multiple homes. It just creates too much chaos for everyone involved and for them!

wouldn’t it be easier to just have a discreet affair? and then just make sure you use protection so you don’t end up getting anyone pregnant or catching some deadly disease and leave it at that, without having to start entire families on the side and bringing headaches to yourself.

And never pay for big ticket items like rent, houses, cars, etc, etc….once someone gets used to receiving regular checks, it’ll become much more difficult to cut them off.

    ***
Who is running the country? because it’s clearly not kibaki. The man is out of it.

  10. Godfrey on March 4, 2009 at 4:31 am

Back in 2002, some of us could see that something was not quite right with Kibaki. However, the sense of NARC euphoria was just unbwogable and nobody would listen. After Kibaki took office in 2003, people stretched their imagination as they rationalized Kibaki’s behaviour. In a sense, we as Kenyans are getting what we voted for. We fell for cheap tricks, illusions and flashy campaigns. Kibaki is not doing anything he hasn’t already done before, this is the kind of man he has always been.

Next time – whenever that is – Kenyans should be more careful about who they vote as president or any other leader for that matter. The kind of character somebody displays at present will continue when he/she is in leadership. As our elders used to say, a leopard cannot change its spots and you old habits die hard. If you cannot vote for somebody now because of his/her conduct, don’t vote for such a person expecting him/her to change.

  11. silvia on March 4, 2009 at 5:06 am

    Fellow countrymen,

does it really matter now how many wives/concubines kibaki has, all we need is a country run properly, and we aint getting that either….drying their dirty linen in public doesnt feed a hungry child in Baringo, wher the other prezi left as he had found it………….arid and hungry and underdeveloped!! We need change, n we need it now….after all he is past the age of anything, leave alone wat comes with having mistresses or wives..

Lucy ,Wamboi ,Kibaki soap is NOT a sex scandal.

IT is just plain HONESTY. Kibaki is the problem

He should like many old men just say

    I HAVE TWO CUCUS….end of story;

  14. Pysd off on March 4, 2009 at 7:49 am

@Dee, please substantiate your claim that “no regular folk have access to that”.
I am FED UP with Kenyans making up ‘facts’ and presenting them as truth. Our collective lack of rigorous analysis of statements, and asking for supporting evidence, is what has killed that once-promising country called Kenya.

@Kisavi, Lucy IS sick. In the same way your (and many of our) mom(s) goes crazy when anyone mentions your father’s mistress.

@All. Not everything is about 2012. It is when I see such statements that I acknowledge Kenyans have lost the plot, and that the end is already here. If there are anymore idiots holding on to hope that Kenya will improve in the next 10-15 years, abandon hope and seek other ports. Once again Muite and the media confirm that nothing is sacred in Kenya. Once again we confirm that we enjoy the bloodsport that is politics too much to care that a family is hurting. How is it anyone’s business how many wives Kibaki has? Would you like it if we came digging into your mother and father’s backgrounds? Yes a press conference was called, possibly to appease a mentally-ill person, but all we can do is jeer. I wish you jeer-ers whatever you deserve!

    Lord,

I like the way you said it- Lucy, Wamboi, Kibaki Soap Opera…. To be Continued..

If they love each other this much they should have Kissed after the press conference. They just kept exchanging some weird funny looks.

Looked like a bunch of sixteen year old’s. What a weird first family.

    I thought it was hilarious.

  17. coldtusker on March 4, 2009 at 9:03 am

    Noni:

    1) kibz can ignore the media.
    2) The reason the media is pissed is coz of the Standard Raid. Why were they raided?
    3) What is with wambui & state protection? WHY?

And there are MANY more pressing issues that Kenyans REALLY care about. These include:

    1) Oil scams & bringing the crooks to book. As I understand it, the GoK has NOT asked Interpol or Indian government to extradite yagnesh devani. If the Indians arrested ketan somaia on years old charges why not yagnesh? BECAUSE THE KENYAN GOVERNMENT HAS NOT REQUESTED THE ARREST.

    2) Oil/fuel shortages hurt the economy & creates inefficiencies (Like when I had to drive around looking for fuel. Waste of time & fuel).

    3) Maize scams. Kibor make his 85mn. Then silence.

    4) Power-sharing fiasco. This still goes on and on.

    5) Anglo-fleecing. kamani was in town apparently to ‘negotiate’ with kibz’s government. The Brits have ‘closed’ the case since GoK refused to request the Brits investigate anglo-fleecing.

The above issues that adversely affect most Kenyans is really important for Kenyans. If Kenyans were well-fed, corruption was at a minimum then most Kenyans would YAWN at Muite’s allegations!

  18. Dee on March 4, 2009 at 1:10 pm

    KE,
What really upset me about that video is the media silence when they had the opportunity. Kenyan media neeed a lecture from Bill o’reily of Fox news how to ask tough questions. Kibaki and Lucy asked them “Any questions?”…..mmmmmh…Why not ask why Miss. Wambui gets state security of why her daughter hasn’t been arrested for claiming to be Kib’s own. Anyone else would be in CID’s hands. I guess they let them (Kibs and Lucy) “fly themselves in their own fat”.

  19. empower Kenya on March 4, 2009 at 4:37 pm

All this drama while Kenyans are starving and dying.
    Its disgusting!!
The preparations(funds) for that press conference could have fed a few family for a whole year.
    It is embarrassing!

  20. kenyanentrepreneur on March 4, 2009 at 5:00 pm

Muite’s motives might also not be pure. My cousin who lives in his former constituency told me that he was an utterly useless MP and that’s why he got voted out.

He is also a well known thief and he is millions of shillings in debt. Did he ask Kibaki for help with his debts and was this request denied? is that why he’s bitter?

I don’t know why Muite thinks he has any legitimacy. His constituents can’t stand him and he’ll never see the inside of parliament again.

Kibaki’s spinelessness is really something to behold, but people also need to start looking at Dr. Gikonyo who is not providing this obviously ill couple with the medical help they need.

    Who is running the country?

  21. Ole Mibei on March 4, 2009 at 6:17 pm

    KE,

I still support Muite. Muite only became corrupt after realizing that he was the only one in parliament that was’nt.

I have followed Muite politics very much. He has been very vocal on many Issues during Mo1 time. In fact a times he was the only Mp who stood against Mo1 an said things as the were.

I hope he gets back to parliament. I believe he’s had a better career in terms of activism than many politicians will ever achieve. Obviously he part of corruption but not grand corruption. He’s just petty corruption.

Remember at the Amendments in 1997. Muite was one of the main protagonist then. I think Its really reckless for your cousin to say that he’ll never get back in parliament.

I come from the constituency and Muite is really popular there. He’s rebuilding his trust in the community and he’s involved in many projects and has a lot of support from the many rich Kikuyu there.

Muite is almost the same person as Gitobu Imanyarra. They share a lot in politics in between them. One thing about Imanyarra is that he lost his seat but he regained it after one term. This will be same case for Muite come 2012 he will be back.

  22. Dee on March 4, 2009 at 8:34 pm

    KE,
Its also ironical about Muite with this concubine soap opera. About 2 years ago, I met a beautiful lady in Hawaii (name withheld) whos last name was Muite. So of course I enquired from her about that last name. She told me her mom was Bahamanian or something like that and her dad was a famous Kenyan lawyer. She lives in Miami. Then I dropped her the bombshell that I was Kenyan and I might know her dad. I dont want to go into details but may be Mr. Muite can shed more light on this….

  23. Dee on March 4, 2009 at 11:25 pm

    KE,
Just as a continuation of the above input, she showed me her I.D. Yes, indeed MUITE was her last name. She seemed eager to talk about NJONJO’s infamous Traitor case. (Muite was his Attoney). By the way she was oiled with cash and knew a few swahili and kyuk words. Anyways anyone who can afford a two week vacation in the heart of Waikiki beach, must not depend on stimulus packages. Am afraid to say more, you never know she could be reading this blog…

  24. Kisavi on March 4, 2009 at 11:40 pm

    Dee,

Your story is cooked up. How do I know this ? It’s simple. You never mentioned it in your first post. So you want to tell me you forgot to mention this ?

Oh common !! Where is this world heading to !!

And so that you Know- Muite is not denying this woman you’re talking about.

You people need to understand. Muite is just connecting the dots about the standard raid. He’s done nothing wrong.

Where is the freedom of speech . No wonder Kibaki signed that Media bill. He has No respect for freedom of speech.

  25. Dee on March 4, 2009 at 11:42 pm

    PSYD OFF,
Yes I stand by my words. When last did you see a regular Kenyan receiving state protection (Wambui has bodyguards and they are not securicor) or delivering goodies with GOK stamps (Check out on You tube). If today I use the Prezzo name in vain to say am his son/daughter to induce favors, you think I’ll be let free? Miss Wangui “Mwai” is still free. She called him “daddy” to the press. But thats not the point. Its the denial of the obvious. I understand your “mental illness” issue but thats not how a wise leader should handle it. Or are you saying our Prezzo is sick too? Please I hope not. I respect the first family and if you read my input well I said am concerned what will happen to the whole saga once they are out of corridors of power. So they better solve it now and in private. I wish them well and rest my case.

  26. kenyanentrepreneur on March 4, 2009 at 11:46 pm

    Dee:

What? you’re not going to provide a name?

Anyway, people from the Bahamas are very good looking. I’m surprised an ugly goon like Muite had what it took to pick up a Bahamanian mistress/lover or whatever….

How old was she and when did you meet her? My understanding (based from people who know Muite) is that the guy is essentially broke and in debt. There was an article in the Nation a while back about all his financial problems. The article basically said that he had all these loans from government banks, which he’d then use to start these businesses that all eventually failed, leaving him in the red with enormous debts. I think he tried to get kibaki to intervene on his behalf when the banks started harrassing him, but nothing was done for him.
    http://www.kbc.co.ke/story.asp?ID=41482

All stealing in kenya begins with a “loan”. The goal is then to ensure that you never have to pay back that ‘loan”.

Biwott did that successfully against many banks. He even did it against Citibank Kenya. The American manager called him and asked him when he’d pay back his loan. He then proceeded to threaten her – telling her that bad things would start happening to her. She left the country soon after out of fears for her safety (she was a single mother with two children who had agreed to go and work in Kenya).

    On another note:
Is Winnie Wangui Kibaki’s biological daughter? some have said she isn’t, while others have said she is.

  27. Dee on March 4, 2009 at 11:52 pm

    KISAVI,
My first response was about the video. My second post was in response to Muite’s motives by KE. It’s your freedom to believe it or not. Whats your problem. are you jealous? Don’t hate.

  28. Dee on March 5, 2009 at 12:12 am

    KE,
As I said I want to respect her privacy but I will tell you according to her story, the dad met her mom at a conference in the US. I think you should find a way for Muite to read this blog and see what he says. For Winnie, who knows….but for sure her and her mom are powerful and influential individuals. No way she could have survived a Lucy’s onslaught this far if she had no powerful backing somewhere. And the Artur brothers…how come Mary and Winnie were never interogated by state security (at least not in public knowledge). Remember the famous picture on the beach of Winnie and one of the Arturs. And joint registered companies etc etc Isn’t that enough evidence. KE, you think a regular folk would survive such a mess? Hell No!! So may be she ain’t Kib’s biological daughter but for sure something not adding up.

  29. Junior on March 5, 2009 at 12:18 am

    KE,

Salaala ! Muite is a rich man. This is almost unbelievable. All these people are the same!

But you people must be a political lynch mob against Muite. Taking a loan does not amount to corruption. They can still reposess the land.

  30. Dee on March 5, 2009 at 1:34 am

    Junior,
Salaala! back at ya.This partains to you and all other confused readers. Do you understand how to read a blog? KE is just stating (NOT concluding) whats out there in public domain. If the media says Muite is broke and KE writes it, dont hold her/him accountable for it with “you people” cry. By the way, give us more details on Muite riches please.

  31. noni on March 5, 2009 at 2:11 am

I think it was sweet of Prezo to stand by his wife even though he knows his wife has flaws. How many men would do that? I think most of you if you where kibz you would have thrown lucy so far away so long time ago. So big up to Kibz for sticking to Lucy till death. (Unlike Moi who banished his wife to oblivion). As you know family comes first then works comes second. But for most men its upside down. You work you arse off until the day you find your wife in another mans arms thinking ati you are providing. I don’t see anything to be embarrassed about here. Besides whats better to see Lucy storming media houses (after all Kibaki cant baby sit her 247) or just do a few minutes press conference to cool Lucy tempers. I think he did a wise thing but most of your clearly may never understand.

  32. Dee on March 5, 2009 at 2:42 am

    Noni,
I get the picture of standing up for Lucy. Thats a great husband! But are you sure politically was a wise decision to bask such a family issue in public? Number of “wives” has no relation to National security, integrity or prosperity. With all the other pressing issues facing Kenya, I think the State House or Harambee House staff should have handled the matter. KE blames Dr. Gikonyo but I blame Prezzo handlers. And how I wish he has same zeal for corruption. By the way, who’s the new State House chief of staff ( I think Comptroller in our Brit. system). Seems H.Ipu is no longer there. Was he fired like Mateere Keriri? Even the staff section on the website (Statehouse.go.ke) states its under construction. Niiiice!

Storm in a teacup or good publicity ploy?

Remember that everybody now is talking about Kibaki. Any publicity for a politician is good publicity.

This will certainly galvanise and solidify support for Kibaki (and Muite) from both men and women.

  34. Kei O on March 5, 2009 at 7:31 am

    KE

Who is running the country? Good question.

In the early years i.e. 2002 to 2004 Kibaki was arguably very unwell and he received a lot of help from those around him. This is what partially encouraged ODM to attempt their power grab via the failed referendum. Some in ODM were totally convinced that Kibaki would be dead by 2005. This is true. I heard them them state it with authority.

However, they were dead wrong. Kibaki has tremendously improved (bar the normal effects of old age), thanks to Dr Gikonyo and others. I understand that he is now in full control of the situation. Anyone who underestimates him will do so at their own peril. The man is in full control of events.

Remember in politics, it is better to be underestimated than overestimated.

Look at what happened to ODM. They were overestimated and so were their abilities. Even the violence they unleashed did not get them anywhere. Now they are crying foul. Were they not at the negotiating table? Ask any Kenyan if they want a repeat of last year’s violence and you will get your answer. And I mean both PNU and ODM supporters.

Kibaki is extremely sharp and alert. And so is his team. Be very careful when dealing with him.

  35. Mkenya WanGU on March 5, 2009 at 10:47 am

    ke,

Kibaki fell inlove with a stripper and was inlove with this woman for a very long time.

The only way to prove this is not the case is through paternity test. Reliable source tell me that wamboi is squarely Kibaki’s daughter and the only reason Kibaki will not take a paternity test is because he knows he’s responsible.

Lucy Kibaki is worried that her children will not have the Inheritance they expected before. This is a common thing in Kenya – Having mistresses.

People need to call a spade a spade- I laud Muite for coming out strongly on this Issue.

  36. Dee on March 5, 2009 at 12:20 pm

    Mkenya Wangu,
So what does your reliable source say about the conclusion to this saga? Does the same source have any crue about Lucy’s mental well being? Am very concerned on that one. So I guess Kibaki just like most men, couldn’t keep his hands off the cookie jar. This issue is soooo trivia I dont see why the First family is making a buzz out of it. I guess you are right…publicity stunt!

  37. jmmk on March 5, 2009 at 12:35 pm

first impression: laughter. like really? all the issues kenya has going on and this is what gets the attention of the president mpaka it’s worthy of a press conference? it’s so absurd its ridiculous.

second impression: i was waiting for this to pop up any second. cos that’s where drama like this belongs. i know there are bored kenyans online – why has no one merged this press conference and bold and the beautiful music or something?

third impressions: please, like anyone is going to ask any questions with lucy kibaki there. she wouldn’t even need those body guards to hold those reporters down.as the americans would say, she was ready to rumble!

lastly, lets hope muite is watching his back. next time lucy sees him you know no one will have the guts to hold her back lest they be next

seriously though, emilio must have messed up in some epic way at some point in his marriage for him to feel that he needs to assuage lucy this way. this is above and beyond what most kenyan men would do, especially those from that generation.

as for the mental health issues i have always heard kibaki had issues after his accident way back in 02, though whether those are just rumours i dont know. as for lucy i dont want to diagnose her from afar, lakini if her mind is not sound and they are just shooting her up with stuff then that’s just wrong. i sure hope that coming generations take mental issues seriously though i doubt it. otherwise intelligent people i know (below the age of thirty and educated and all that) will claim that mental issues are things only white people deal with or the work of uchawi/the devil.

  38. Kinoo on March 5, 2009 at 1:30 pm

My goodness, forget everything else mentioned for a minute? Who dresses this woman? Can you blame Kibaki for even fantasizing with someone else?

    Back to the issue,

First Lucy. She looked like an old bag. granted at 70 you are not in the best shape but a suit at least. Look presidential. People might take you seriously. The hair??? I think that fake wig makes it even worse. It screams ‘head for the hills’ danger within. Simply put she did not resemble a first lady. And to be yapping non sense while the husband stood there and cheered her on was despicable.

Secondly, Kibaki seized being the president the day he gave in to that press conference. Didn’t ODM start Pickering they want to renegotiate the cabinet seats already? The biggest damage, Kibaki may have declared Kenya a nation of pussies. Future generations have to hear how even a president had to declare his undivided love to his wife. The point is, if you love your wife and kids, you don’t need to broadcast it. They too know the feelings are mutual. This will not be the end of the rumors but beginning of many more. I already saw in the thread someone questioning if one of Kibaki’s daughter was biological?

Now the fun part. I was hoping one of those reporters will have guts and do something silly. Imagine standing up to ask a question and holding a paper placard with Muite’s face on it. You maybe shot on the spot but you go out in style.

And for the couple, do you think there was make up sex? Hmmmm I didn’t think so either. Maybe there is truth about those Nyeri type.

KIBAKI’S KILLER MACHINES POLICE AND ARMY ARE OUT TO SLAUGHTER MORE INNOCENT KENYANS
    This is quite chilling.

I wonder what the law say (or does not say) about video evidence. The witness is also deceased.

Perhaps the KNCHR should considered releasing this video immediately after it was recorded and before the late Kirinya was murdered.

KENYANS MUST RISE UP AND REMOVE THIS ROGUE PRESIDENT FROM OFFICE…

  40. Mkenya WanGU on March 5, 2009 at 4:02 pm

    Dee,

Other reliable sources news is that even Jimmy Kibaki is angry with his mum.

Reliable source has also confided to me that Kibaki is working in a power vacuum.

We finally have a lame president. Who cannot even pass a simple tribunal amendment in parliament.

Reliable source has also informed many Kenyans are really disgusted with Lucy and her emotional outbursts over non issues. Lucy has come across as a very mean old woman who has no respect for basic freedoms.

Many central mp’s are in support of Muite and his entourage. Everybody is embarrassed by this Lucy. Kenyans did not vote to get this type of rants on Public television.

My reliable source also confided that Kenyans are very angry- He sees a general election coming Very soon. Kenyan’s were just waiting for this Kind of thing to justify a need for new leaders.

What of the ISSUES facing the country?

    - Maize or lack thereof
    - Oil shortages
    - Hunger

    Kei O;

Good publicity for kibaki? What are you smoking girl?

    Coldtusker:
Why are you looking for rationality in the midst of madness?

    Kinoo:
If lucy and kibaki are still having sex, then it must be a form of sadomaschism with lucy acting as the dominatrix and providing the following: discipline, submission, handcuff’s, leg irons and restraint chains…

    moving on…

It’s very dangerous to have a president who has no balls and no brains.

Moi had balls, but no brains (bad)

Kalonzo has neither balls nor brains (very bad)

Raila has? (i’m not sure yet….)

LOL @ KE..at the idea of kibz and lucy still engaging in sex….honestly, there’s no way kibaki is still tapping that, honestly

Someone has to remain sane… after all we can’t all act silly…

  46. Dee on March 7, 2009 at 8:52 pm

    KE,
On a serious note could you please raise a forum for discussion about the doomsday scenario were there to be a calamity bestowing our beloved President (God forbid). Do you think Kenya will explode beyond repair in a struggle btn. Kikuyus and ODM on one hand and Raila and Kalonzo on the other?

  47. coldtusker on March 9, 2009 at 4:38 am

Dee: “Beloved”… please, enough with the sycophancy!

kibz – had he conceded to raila in 2007/8 – would have retired in peace & treated with respect by raila & most Kenyans. He would have been remembered for the 5 peaceful years as well as economic growth.

I am surprised how well dan moi is received by many Kenyans in spite of all he destroyed. Why? Coz he left the presidency (sort of) peacefully in 2002.

We would have avoided the PEV & Kenya would have been much better economically.

  48. Dee on March 9, 2009 at 10:53 am

    CT,
Ninja please!…I used “beloved” as a figure of speech. And what makes you think Kibaki lost the Elections? There is strong evidence indicating rigging on both sides of the political divide. So who knows? I used to admire ODM but what has transpired lately of the “people’s party”, thank God they ain’t in power. Do you realize majority of ODM are former KANU public looters? Its back to business as usual…..think about it.

    Dee,

Stop sinking into despair. Obviously the people are going to rise up one day(I think).

The status quo won’t last long. Most of these politicians you see now will disappear and we’ll have an awakening period followed by real leaders.

I don’t know when this is going to happen- but gauging from the frustration in the air the people will rise up against rogue politicians and presidents.

But the problem still lies in the population. Please teach your brothers and sisters against having too many children. Two is enough. Please. I’m ashamed for Kenyans when I see Kenyan children on helpachild.org and Cable advertisements begging for a bowl of food. etc.

Here in America even Celebrities with Millions have one or two kids. Even Bill gates has just one. Please start using reason to live life and not just living instinctively like wild animals.

I’m not sure about that because ruto and his extremist kalenjins seem to have a stranglehold on Raila.

If it was just raila and people like anyang nyongo, then fine, but Ruto is crazy.

  51. coldtusker on March 11, 2009 at 10:25 am

Dee & KE: Let’s be clear… I am NOT saying that RAO won. And I am not sure kibz won either. That fake inauguration was very shady…

Now… look at 2000 when Al Gore conceded to George Bush. They could have gone on and on and on… At some point, AG decided enough is enough. No more appeals. And we are talking of a PEACEFUL election.

Ironically, AG can travel all around the world giving speeches while GB is not as free to travel coz of what happened (or not) during his presidency.

kibz had 5 years in power. He should have left it at that…

Madiba retired. Today he is RESPECTED all over the world. If Madiba was allowed to stand for elections in Kenya… I betcha he would win, hands down, over kibz or RAO.

    kibz lost most Kenyans’ RESPECT.
