But then again Sackur is trying to make it look like it is Uhuru who made that decision. Uhuru, however, puts up a fight and argues this is a matter for parliament. It IS parliamentarians who awarded themselves this huge salaries. And they have refused to pay even a penny of tax on the same salaries. Uhuru cannot be blamed for decisions taken by parliament. On the whole, I was really impressed by Uhuru's performance. It is better than Raila's Newsnight interview in January/february. He is alert, articulate and on the ball. I don't care about his money. i just like the way he stood up to this guy Sackur.
